Mac vendors prepare the arrival of the new 14 and 16″ MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro with M2

That the new computers were not presented on September 7, was something we already knew. Apple wants to give them the prominence they deserve by having their own event that will be in October. In it we will see, most likely, that the new models of MacBook Pro with M2 chip are presented. The update of Apple Silicon that on the outside will not have many consequences but inside things change. We will see a much more efficient and faster computer.

A couple of years ago, Apple's own processor for computers was introduced to society. Bearing in mind that the term that Tim Cook gave for all terminals to have their own processor is over, little by little we see how we are improving the MacBook chips. On this occasion it is expected that the new update prepared by the company will fall on the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.  They are expected to come with the new M2 chip, as has happened with the current one. MacBook Air.

These data are confirmed thanks to the suppliers in charge of manufacturing the Mac models. According to the new news, it seems that the supply chain is stopping the manufacture of Macs with M1 and raising the number of devices created with M2. All this with a view to the October presentation and therefore so that the shipments that are prepared from the event do not fall into the water of borage and there are computers for everyone.

As mentioned, the new 14-inch and 16-inch models are expected to retain the same design as the models announced in October 2021, but with the added performance and power efficiency of the ‌M2‌ Pro and ‌M2‌ Max chips. Chips expected to be based on 5nm process and they are likely to have a higher number of GPU cores and RAM compared to their M1 equivalents.
