Better fans: MacBook dissipates heat better

Moment it's all good news in the improvements Apple has made to the new 16-inch MacBook Pro. Your keyboard has improved as tested by iFixit (not much but has improved), the speakers too.

Now we know that Computer fans are better than its predecessor and therefore better dissipates heat. In this way the performance of the computer is superior.

The new MacBook Pro has a fan that copes with the thermal limitation, designed when the Intel processor is operating at full capacity. This fan promises a 28% increase in airflow and there is a larger heatsink. The latter is capable of dissipating high temperatures up to 35% more than the model already extinct 15 inch.

Max Bench used Intel Power Gadget to view processor frequencies and temperatures in real time. The computer used for the tests has quite top-of-the-range characteristics. The 16-inch model was compared to the 15-inch.

One 7 i2,6 processor 6-core GHz offering Turbo Boost up to 4,5 GHz.

In testing Once the processors in each of these two MacBooks had warmed up to nearly 100 degrees, the newly launched 16-inch model was clocked at about 3,35 GHz, while the 15-inch was raised at 3,06. GHz, about 10% slower.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro scored a 5667 in the multi-core test, while the older model scored a 5164.
