MacLocks, a company specialized in security lock systems for Mac and Apple devices in general, has just presented a new closure that would be added to its line of products, specifically it is the 'Mac Pro Lock' and would come to secure this equipment against friendly hands of others.
As you all know, the design of the new Mac Pro does not leave room for any Kesington security connector, being a device with a price understood between € 3000 to € 10.000 approximately. Only with this data makes security one of the main points to take into account, since despite its very particular aesthetics, we must also value the fact that the Mac can be used by several people if necessary. that it is located in a 'public' area with the consequent risk that this entails.
That is why the design of this connector still offering high security, it does not break aesthetics at any point, it only changes the appearance of the connection panel where it would be installed just below the HDMI output and the Power button.
Its installation seems quite simple, just it would have to slide into the Mac Pro chassis a metal plate where the security lock would be housed together with the locking cable.
