MacOS 10.13.6 is now available in its final version for all users

macOS-High-Sierra-1

A few hours ago, the guys from Cupertino launched the final versions of iOS 11.4.1, tvOS 11.4.1, watchOS 4.3.2 and HomePod 11.4.1, some updates that did not include the final version of macOS 10.13.6. But since there are no two without three, there are no four without five, and the final version of macOS 10.13.6 is also available to all Mac users.

It is more than likely that this is the last update that all Macs that will not update to macOS Mojave receive, and that it is all those MacBook, iMac or MacBook Pro and Mac Mini that hit the market before 2012, Cutoff date set by Apple for the next version of macOS, a date that just doesn't make sense.

The main and we could say the only novelty offered by macOS 10.13.6 is found in the AirPlay 2 support, Apple's proprietary wireless communication protocol, finally supported by iTunes. This second generation of Apple's communication protocol was presented more than a year ago at the last WWDC, and since now many users have been waiting for its launch, a launch that occurred on mobile devices with the launch of iOS 11.3, a couple of months ago, so the next OS to enjoy it had to be the Mac.

This update also offers us the typical improvements in both performance and security and stability of macOS. In addition, a problem with the Photos application has been fixed when recognize AVCHD files from some cameras. Another problem solved in this update, we found it in the Mail application. Mail showed us an error message when we tried to move a message from a folder located in our Gmail account to a folder available in another email service.
