MacOS High Sierra 10.13 is now available for everyone!

And now we can say that the official version of macOS High Sierra 10.13 is available for download from the Mac App Store for all Mac users. Apple has just released this new version officially and we are all excited about its arrival.

The new beta versions that were arriving these days until the launch of the GM version that made it clear that the aesthetic changes are very scarce and the new functions were focused directly on the stability of the system, the new Apple File System, the news in Safari, the new standard HEVC high definition video format and its compatibility with virtual reality development platforms, of which we saw a few interesting demo at WWDC.

In the previous version macOS Sierra came an important novelty to Mac users, Siri, in this case as with the main novelty of this latest version macOS High Sierra released today, we highlight an important novelty, the management of APFS files. In both cases, in addition to these, other new features were added, such as those mentioned above and others, but the highlight here is that nor we are facing a radical change if not that it is a continuity in the versions, a step by step progress.

It is true that this APFS is still somewhat green for macOS users, but it is certain that in the following versions the guys from Cupertino will work hard to improve this. Now the advice is like that of each new version that arrives: If your Mac accepts this new version, don't hesitate for a second and update.

If I download from the App Store it tells me when installing that an error has occurred and that it cannot check the firmware. Someone else happens?

Downloading In Jalisco, Mexico. We'll see how it was with office 2011 and 2016, as well as its performance and especially what will happen to the battery.

It downloaded and updated me well but my hard drive has already screwed up like at the beginning with the Sierra. 3 days working well, it was to open the lid and instead of waking up ...

Happy "folder flashing" screen, that is, my SSD disk has been loaded.
And I've been away from home for 15 days and without a copy of the TIMEMACHINE.

This afternoon it's time to see what has happened and see if I have recovered.

So you better not install the update as long as these little problems are not solved, and on the internet I see that I am not the only one who has happened ...

After updating to masOS High Sierra 10.13, I can no longer transfer files larger than 2 GB to an External Hard Drive in MS-DOS (FAT32) format, when I try to do it I get a warning that says: The element «video.mkv» is not you can copy because it is too large for the volume format.

I did not have this problem when using any previous version of the operating system.
Besides that I still use the same external hard drive as usual.

I made the transfer of the same file to a USB memory in APFS format, without any problem.

What can I do to get it working with the external hard drive again, without having to reformat it?
