As is normal, in the presentation of the WWDC21 In almost two hours, Tim Cook and his team only explained to us the main novelties of the new versions of the software for Apple devices this year.
From now on, the developers will be testing the first beta versions of these software. Apart from reporting bugs to the company, they will also show us the "hidden" news that was not shown in Monday's keynote. An interesting one concerns the video recording while you enjoy your favorite game….
An interesting novelty regarding games has been discovered in the first betas released this week. In these early beta versions of iOS 15, iPadOS 15 y macOS Monterey Included is the ability to capture and save the last 15 seconds of gameplay at any time by pressing and holding a specific button on the compatible game controller that you are using to play the game.
Instead of having to remember to start and stop a screen recording while gaming, this new optional feature allows iPhone, iPad and Mac users to capture 15 second videos simply by pressing and holding the Share (or Create) button on a compatible game controller, such as the Xbox Series X / S controller or the PS5 DualSense.
A little novelty that will delight those gamers who love to share their most epic moments of the game in which they are engrossed without having to release the remote the one they are playing with at the moment.
This is an example of those little news that Apple did not show in its presentation this past Monday. They'll be popping up over the next few weeks as developers test the first few Betas and discover them. Not because they are minor, they are still interesting.
