The mobility that a laptop offers us is always appreciated, since it allows us to carry our work with us wherever we are, as long as the battery of our device works and has enough endurance. Many are the users that are obsessed with the battery life, that if it lasts 2 hours, that if it is four, that if…. Really battery life is very difficult for the system to measure, unless we are going to make the same use of it as when we have made the measurement, that is, if we are writing before looking at the battery time and our intention is to continue writing, we cannot enjoy our favorite videos of Youtube.

The latest macOS Sierra update, number 10.12.2, which the guys from Cupertino released yesterday, in addition to fixing typical malfunctions and improving performance, Apple eliminated the function that showed us the battery time that our Mac had left. Apparently the engineering team has not been able to find the solution so that the measurements they made were correct, since in most cases, all the forecasts were wrong.

In this way, we once again have the traditional meter that we have always had on our iPhone or iPad, measured by percentages. In addition to the problems that some users of the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar are having with the batteries of their devices, it also doesn't help that this function can finally be real or not, since most affirmed that of the 10 hours promised by Apple, nothing at all, that at most 6 hours and a miracle. What is clear is that batteries are still the endemic evil, not only in laptops but also in smartphones, due to problems for their maintenance, management and especially the duration of the charge.
