Last week Apple released the first public beta of macOS Sierra, which is actually the second beta for developers of this version of the operating system in beta for Mac computers. discovering new functionality and options that Apple didn't mention in the last keynote in which he presented the new operating systems that will reach the public in September.

Mac developer Guilherme Rambo has discovered what appears to be a new feature built into macOS, a new dark mode that, according to the different tests he has done, apparentlyIt would be compatible with applications developed by third parties. Currently dark mode is only available for the OS X top menu and dock.

What is curious about this novelty is that Apple did not offer any information about it in the last keynote. Nor did he mention it in the different workshops that the company held in the days after the inaugural conference. This seems to indicate that perhaps for Apple not a really interesting option neither for developers nor for users, so it is likely that in the final version this option will no longer be available if it is really finished on time and in full operation.

By using native controls, Apple will be able to facilitate the adaptation to a dark mode that can be easily applied in all third-party applications. Apple hasn't reported this option among what's new in macOS Sierra, so it may not be ready in time for the public release of the final version in the fall.

The Dark mode in the software is very popular not only because it offers us a better view and appearance, but also helps reduce eye fatigue especially when users use the Mac at night, when the light around us is barely perceptible.
