MagCozy, new support for the MagSafe 2 converter on Kickstarter

magcozy

When Apple changed the connector type from MagsSafe to Magsafe 2 on the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Retina due to the design change they received in 2012, many were the users who had to go through the checkout for having another device with the old MagSafe '1' power connector.

We are all clear that this converter for MagSafe is really small and can be a bit cumbersome if we have to connect and disconnect from one Mac to another to load them, in addition to theThe possibility of losing the adapter by not using it is always present… This has a solution and today we will see one of them: MagCozy, a great project launched on the popular Kickstarter website.

Ben Martinek designer of the MagCozy, presents us with a 'kind of tape' to hold the MagSafe 2 adapter in a very simple way on the cable itself and that in addition to providing comfort to use it we will be less likely to lose the small Apple converter. The best thing is to see the photos and video of the project launched on Kickstarter and see if it can be useful:

For a price of $ 8 plus 4 shipping costs outside the US, you can buy this strap to hold on Apple MagSafe 2 converter,  $ 6.000 is their 'target' limit to start the mass manufacturing project. Currently and as we write the article they are in the 2.870 dollars raised and they still have 28 days to reach the deadline. In addition, this fastening tape for the MagSafe converter can be obtained in white, red, black or blue.

As many clients come to me with their MAC with magsafe2 I was about to buy a converter to save them bringing their charger. When I read the title I said "my first project to support in kickstarter" I lost the desire to see the video and it even projects little credibility.

I totally agree with you 😀 the video is not professional at all but I am one of those who thinks that what is really important is the product itself and this one does seem interesting.

Without a doubt, they could have worked a little more to show us their project ...
