Manage RAM with Memory Clean

MEMORY CLEAN

Today Sunday it's time to recommend an application to be able to manage memory RAM  of our Macs. It is a small application, available in the Mac App Store that will help us in a very efficient way.

Since I came to the Mac world, I have always been clear that computers with OSX system have a more than outstanding performance, so I have been able to trust blindly. However, sometimes you have to do a minimum maintenance of the system because if we can not reach an unwanted slowdown.

Memory clean It is an application that reports on the RAM memory that is in the computer, the memory that is being used, the one that is occupied but inactive and of course, it is able to free it for the operation of the Mac to speed up.

Many new users come to the world of the apple because they have been advised that with this type of computer they will have to ignore many technical issues that do exist in Windows. In a sense it is true and we all know that they are computers that work perfectly and in an uncomplicated way, which makes users tend to take for granted that everything is managed and self-regulating.

Today we recommend the Memory Clean application, since many times, what is not free as much as possible is the RAM memory. When we have a computer with 8Gb of RAM, there is little we can talk about a lack of memory at any given time, since with that amount the limit is almost never reached. However, the MacBook Air from 2013 for example come with 4Gb of RAM, so it would not be bad to manage it and know exactly where it is going.

Memory Clean is a very easy application to install. When you finish with the installation, an icon appears in the top menu bar of the desktop on the right side of the screen, accompanied by the amount of free RAM we have. By secondary clicking on that section, it shows us the free, occupied, active and inactive memory, as well as the total RAM memory that our computer has.

To free up the RAM memory possible, just press the right button on the icon and click Clean Memory to start emptying the RAM of those processes that are no longer running.

If we make a single main click on the icon, we will open an additional window in which the same data appears, although with a little more detail, and in which memory can also be freed.

Keep in mind that if you put your computer on “sleep” repeatedly and don't get used to turning it off every so often, there will be a large number of applications that will have been run and closed without restarting the Mac, so with Memory Clean you can free up that RAM very quickly.
