Manage the channels you want to show on Apple TV

Apple TV- web service-0

Although the wait for the appearance of a fourth generation of Apple TV is getting long with many predictions, rumors and analyst comments During the past two years, we hoped it would be at the WWDC 2015 when the generational change would finally be presented ... nothing is further from reality, since Apple did not show a small glimpse of what can wait for us in the new generation.

Until we have this new model among us at least we can customize the appearance of the current one since it has been added much more content in the form of channels And having so many on the main screen can start to get visually cumbersome.

To customize this screen we will only have to go to Settings just below "Computers" or next to it depending on whether we have the second or third generation of Apple TV and then select Main Menu. Once inside we will see all the channels arranged in a list that we can also select and mark «hide» to remove them from the home screen leaving the option "visible" to those we want to show.

As simple as this and we will already have our Apple TV fairly customized so that we only show what we are actually going to use. If on the other hand we have a problem with this device and it does not allow us to access any of the menus or it locks constantly, the solution normally goes through the restart by completely disconnecting the Apple TV from the current, allowing a few seconds and reconnecting it until it starts completely.

If the problems persist we will have to restore it by going to Settings> General> Restore and if still with everything, it does not allow such restoration, we will have to do it through iTunes with a micro-usb cable and restoring the firmware of the Apple TV.
