Mark Zuckerberg and the duct tape on his MacBook Pro Retina

Today we bring you an image that when seeing it produces at least some grace and that is that the CEO of a company as large and powerful as Facebook, which spends millions of dollars on security for its service, has decided that the best way to have privacy assured is with duct tape both on the webcam of the MacBook Pro as in the side mikes.

Mark Zuckerberg himself posted a piece of news on his Facebook account that referred to the success of the social network Instagram. For this he has made a frame to simulate the box where Instagram shows the photos with your username and the Likes you have.

However, this is not what has transpired and it is that if you look closely at the photograph you will see that in the MacBook of Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook both the webcam and the side mics of a MacBook have been covered with a simple adhesive tape. Indeed, the CEO of a company that invests a lot of money in computer security believes that the best way to keep his privacy safe is by placing a simple sticker on the microphones and the webcam.

More than 500 million people now use Instagram every month - and 300 million every day. The Instagram community has more than doubled over the past two years. This is a tribute to Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger's vision, and to people everywhere who have opened a window into their world - from big events to everyday moments. Thanks for making Instagram such a beautiful place.

Some time ago we talked about the security of the webcams that the MAcBooks mount and it was indicated that it is technically impossible for the camera to be running without the green indicator LED turning on and that is that the power of the camera itself goes through the same driver. The truth is that it is a curious image that we have found today in the media.
