One of Microsoft's greatest assets right now in terms of software is the Skype or Whatsapp and that is why it does not stop allocating resources so that the application takes shape and is used in a very attractive sector for Microsoft, the business sector.

Therefore, Microsoft has just released the preliminary version of "Skype for Business", an application that would serve as a messaging and video service platform in companies. Business users will be able to try the new version of Skype adapted to their environment and needs, making it really the competition to Apple's iMessage and FaceTime service.

The idea behind the Skype for Business preview is that professionals who request it can start using it to familiarize themselves with it so that When the final version is released, Microsoft's applications on OS X and Skype can work together.

Microsoft plans to launch Skype for Business in three stages. The first, which started today, will bring Outlook integration into the fold. This will allow users to not only view meetings, but also join them with one click, directly from Skype. Later, Microsoft will also introduce support for instant messaging, a robust contact list and will end with the public release later this year.

Regarding the differences between the Skype focused on the business world and the normal consumer version, we will have that while the normal version allows a maximum of 25 people in a single call, the business version will allow up to 250 at the same time, in addition to other functions that are not yet known.
