We are beginning to know that developers have taken some advantage in the race to adapt their applications to the revolution that Apple presented yesterday afternoon. We are talking, of course, about the new function bar touch Bar.
In short, those of you who enter this article and do not know this function, tell you that Apple has created a function bar adaptable to the application we are using in its new Macbook Pro. In addition, the simplicity is such that the most used icons are drawn at all times, thus gaining enormous productivity.
But without seeing it in detail, we will not understand its function. Microsoft has created specifically for computers with Touch Bar, the mode Focus Mode (or mode without distractions), for Microsoft Word. It allows working in full screen mode, without any type of icon, bar, etc. The application places the Touch Bar in what would be the program's favorite functions. That is to say, we can see in the new Apple bar the icons of: bold, italic, underlined, tab, numbering, among others.
As for the benefits that we will see in PowerPoint, these are focused on dmoving graphic objects. We have the button Rearrange objects, which will allow us to visualize the different layers of the slide in order to move objects. Also sliding your finger on the bar, we will rotate the object on itself until we find the desired angle.
The functions that we can carry out from Touch Bar with Excel, focus on two groups: on the one hand intuitively try to provide you with the desired formula among several options and quickly we allows you to select the range to make the desired formula in a few seconds. On the other hand, it allows you to access different colors or graphics.
Finally, Outlook. I think it will be the most profitable of the three, having clear and repetitive functions. In this case, its use will be even more essential. From an initial moment, when we find ourselves writing an email, suggests recently used files, allowing us to attach them.
