I am one of those who maybe obsess a bit with the temperature sometimes, but it gives me a bad feeling when the processor reaches considerably high temperatures, but if what you want is an exhaustive control this is your program.
Temperature Monitor allows you to monitor a multitude of parameters on your Mac, since it completely captures the information of all the available sensors on every Apple computer, be it PowerPC or Intel.
It also allows us to see details of the hardware and the status of the hard drives, as well as add temperature data to the menu bar, which I recommend doing better with SMCFanControl.
