Mozilla releases the 100th version of its Firefox browser for macOS

Firefox

As fanboys as we are of Apple, it is clear that the software created in Cupertino is not the best in the world, and sometimes you have to resort to third-party applications. For example, when browsing with my iMac, I usually use Safari, but punctually I need to do it with other browsers, and I do it with Opera and Firefox.

It operates because it has a virtual VPN, and sometimes I need to circumvent my internet operator to access certain websites that are blocked from accessing them. And Firefox, because it has some extensions that I use that Safari doesn't. Well, today we have a new update. Firefox, the number 100.

Mozilla just released today version number 100 of your Firefox browser for both macOS and iOS, PC, Linux and Android. For Mac, Firefox adds in its Picture-in-Picture mode, a new language switcher and some minor features.

And in its version for iOS, it brings new tabs and more organized history, in addition to some new wallpapers that will be available at the end of this week.

In its desktop version, Firefox 100 now has subtitles for Picture in Picture mode. Mozilla explains that it will work with video services like YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and etc. with support for WebVTT. Other enhancements include an auto-detect language switcher based on your preferred language and credit card autofill that is extended to more countries.

The new language switcher feature makes it easy for users to switch to their preferred language in the browser. Firefox will now recognize a device's language preference and ask if the user wants to switch to one of over 100 languages.
The function of credit card autofill It's now available outside of the US, in the UK, France and Germany, making online shopping quick and easy.

Firefox 100 for macOS It is now available directly in the websites from Mozilla. The new version for iOS will arrive at the end of this week on the App Store.
