Does our Mac need a backup in the cloud?

In the market there are different services to make backup copies of our Mac in the cloud: Backblaze, Arq. But we miss an Apple service that automatically makes copies of the complete system in the cloud, in the style of iCloud Backup, we have on iOS devices. With this option, we gain, among other things, security in our data, understood as the problem that our backup copies may have are made on physical hard drives, which are generally located in an address. Not only a failure of these means would make it useless, but also a fire or flood.

It is not to get dramatic, but at this current point, Apple gives us the ability to make a backup of files that we have in the documents folder or on the desktop. First, we can't choose which folders are syncedWell, either we copy the entire document folder, or we don't copy any. Second, the perfect option would be to perform a copy in the cloud that allows us to restore our system from exactly the moment we make the copy in our system.

Apple will unify its work teams to improve services

Perhaps the investment in data centers that Apple is building throughout the United States, responds exactly to a measure in this regard. But if it occurs, the amount of information that needs to be stored per user would be higher than that used at this time. Therefore, the question of the price of this storage arises. Currently Apple has the following price ranges: free up to 5 GB, € 0,99 up to 50 GB, € 2,99 is 200 GB and 2 TB is € 9,99. Without knowing how it could be started, but it seems to me thatThe required plan should not be less than 200 Gb.

We do not know if Apple is working on it, but I understand that it should provide support of this type, and not only for the professional client, who is planning a case of failure of their equipment, but for the ordinary user who does not want to complicate in case you have an error of this type.
