New Apple announcement on iMessage and renewable energy

Apple-iMessage-0 announcement

Today is Friday April 22 and how could it be otherwise, Apple is already celebrating Earth Day by exposing its commitment to the environment, for this reason it has not wanted to miss the appointment by presenting a new ad called "iMessage - Renewable Energy". This is developed entirely within the Messages application, the announcement focuses on explaining how 100% renewable energy is used in Apple's data centers and this allows users to send messages from iMessage and enjoy the benefits with their friends or acquaintances.

The ad basically argues that since the technology behind messages in iMessage is renewable and environmentally friendly, users are showing "a little love" for the Earth by using the service. The ad ends with the Earth Day logo with the green stem of Apple in its logo as shown in the header image.

Back in 2013 and thanks to a Keynote, Apple announced that its data centers were using 100% renewable energy. Globally, 93% of Apple's facilities run on renewable energy, including its new headquarters, the well-known Apple Campus 2, will also run on 100% renewable energy.

Apple is celebrating Earth Day by updating the logos of its stores with green details and also providing employees with green t-shirts. The company is also promoting that stores that run on 100% renewable energy with new signage.
