Last week our long-awaited Apple service started operating, Apple Pay, in Spain. However, all the news was not good and it was that it arrived in Spanish territory with few entities behind its back, among which we can mention The main ones are those of Banco Santander and cards such as the American Express or the Carrefour Pass.

Yes, the card of the French supermarket chain that has bet heavily with the implementation of Apple Pay in Spain and is that from the first moment all users of their cards could already register for them in Wallet on the iPhone and get started with Apple Pay payments.

In my case, as soon as I heard the news and knew that the only bank was Santander, as for mortgage reasons I am with Bankia, I had no more possibilities than to launch a Carrefour card, a Carrefour Pass with which to make my shopping with this new method. For those who are not up to date with this card, it is totally free to obtain it and what Carrefour does is to associate it with the bank account that you indicate and make the charges in the payment method you choose.

Yes, the Carrefour Pass is a MasterCard card that is totally free that lets you choose between different forms of payment when activating it. The form of payment that the Carrefour Pass card has are immediate cash, month-end cash and credit. Cash immediately and at the end of the month are at no cost to the client.

So if you want to start using Apple Pay, it costs you nothing to have a Carrefour card and take advantage of its advantages was in the brand's hypermarkets. On the Carrefour website you can request the Carrefour Pass, but its servers are saturated due to high demand.
