The new iPhone will allow you to animate emojis using facial expressions from the camera

Dynamic emoji

The future is here. Once again, Apple does it again. Tomorrow will be presented one of the most anticipated technological revelations of the year, the iPhone X. Far from the controversy of the name, we do not know if it will finally be called that or not, we can say that it will come with numerous advances and that Apple hopes to continue setting the trend with this new terminal.

Among all the improvements that this new smartphone of the bitten apple will incorporate, there are some that are not so relevant, but they are very interesting. Apparently, the new iPhone will be able to animate our emojis if we use our phone's camera to "imitate" our facial expressions.

According to experts who have analyzed the beta GM (Golden Master) of iOS 11 leaked at the beginning of last weekend, This concept known as "Animoji" is a new feature that will be incorporated into the new iPhone. Although all the details are not yet known, we trust that tomorrow, in the Keynote that Apple has prepared, they will announce this and other news.

With this new feature, users will be able to create custom 3D animations of existing emojisbased on the facial expressions collected by the camera.

It sounds like science fiction. According Steve Troughton-Smith, application developer for iOS, will be several of the emojis existing today which will be available to recreate "human" animations on them. Chimpanzees, robots, pigs, dogs, cats, foxes, etc. stand out.

Animoji can be widely customized, by moving different parts of our face (eyebrows, cheeks, chins, jaws, lips, mouth, ...). We await more news about this new functionality that will surely make us enjoy our phone even more.

No olvides que mañana podrás seguir desde aquí la Keynote a partir de las 19.00h (hora española) con nosotros, en SoyDeMac.
