The new Porsche 911 GT3 will support Apple CarPlay

A couple of weeks ago we talked about Apple CarPlay and the possibility that this system will just be outlined to be wireless very soon, now taking advantage of the Geneva Motor Show, some brands show the news in their cars and although it is true that We have not seen this wireless system in any of them, they have presented some models that will incorporate it as the case of the new Porsche 911 GT3. This system that has been around for a long time may be expanded into more brands and in fact some have already had it for a long time.

As strange as it may seem, this Apple system called Apple CarPlay, which allows us to enjoy some applications directly on our car radio, has been implemented for a long time in some brands and not necessarily in Porsche, We have CarPlay in brands such as: Citroen, Ford, Volskwagen, Honda, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Kia, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, among others ...

Personally speaking and after testing the system on some models, I can say that the only downside is the issue of having to connect the iPhone to the car using the lightning cable, but the system works very well in general and always helps the user through the Siri assistant. And is that touching the screen while driving is not the best in any caseTherefore, the applications that we have available are few and most of them can be used with the assistant, so it is an interesting system for all cars to implement.

It is not just about high-end cars, there are simpler cars that carry it, so find out if you are about to change cars or have plans for it, since it is really worth it.
