New RAW compatibility update for digital cameras

update-raw

A new update appears today after the one received yesterday that updated several of Apple's native applications: Safari, iPhoto, Aperture, Java that we already published in Soy de Mac. This time it is only a matter of adding to the Aperture 3 and iPhoto '11 applications RAW format support for 4.05 cameras

This format for photos can be used in many of the upper-middle-range digital cameras and in this update for the OS X Mountain Lion operating system, support for four Fujifilm brand cameras is added.

For those more advanced users in the art of photography, they will already know its meaning and the advantages of shooting photographs in this RAW format with digital cameras, for those who do not know what this format is or what it is used for quickly (in the wikipedia everything is very well explained) without being an expert on the subject, I can say that taking photos with this format allows us to better edit the photo afterwards.

If we take the photograph in jpg format, the possibility of editing once downloaded to the computer offers us fewer 'possibilities' than if we shoot it in RAW format; by contrast, the RAW format takes up much more space on the camera's memory card.

Those who really understand photography say that RAW is one of the best, not to mention the best format to be able to 'retouch' the photos once downloaded from the camera to the computer with programs of the style: Photoshop, Nikon Capture NX 2, Nikon Color Efect Pro for Capture NX 2, etc.

Today's update adds the following cameras to the long list of compatible, these from the Fujifilm brand: x20, x100s, x-e1 and x-Pro1
