A new rumor gives a setback to Apple and the security of its macOS system

WikiLeaks has always been involved in scandals for revealing data that, perhaps, ordinary users are not prepared to know and that is that if a few days ago they revealed data on how the CIA itself had procedures for unlocking devices such as the iPhone or the iPad, now he returns to the attack but this time with the Mac and his macOS.

Apple wasted no time in publishing that its vulnerabilities they were well closed in iOS 10 and that their mobile devices were not in danger, but now, it seems that Macs also suffer the same fate.

Everything we are telling you can be seen better in the next web under the name Dark Matter. This WikiLeaks report talks about how the CIA could have used Apple accessories to modify its firmware and use injected malicious software in computers precisely in those connectors. It also describes how the CIA used USB sticks to inject malicious software into the Cupertino's computers, USB sticks loaded with malware that received the code name of Sonic screwdriver o Sonic screwdriver.

If we stop to think about it, at least in my case I experienced an update to Apple's multi-port USB-C adapter when I bought it with my first generation 12-inch MacBook. Now I am left cold with this leak in which indeed it seems that the CIA, possibly, has been using security holes in the firmware of those connectors to be able to infect the computers of some Apple users.

We will see how long it takes those of the bitten apple to deny this information or at least give their version of the issue and that is that the most precious thing for Apple is brought into play, the privacy of its users.
