With the avalanche of information received yesterday afternoon, do not comment that Apple released the MacOS Catalina beta 8. Among the novelties we find the typical error correction of these last betas, to leave a fully polished operating system before making it available to the general public.
But not all are bug fixes. Among the novelties we find new macOS Catalina wallpapers. Up to seven new images are available. Also, now the main screen is dynamic, changing with the variation of the hours, as happens with the dynamic wallpaper that we have in macOS Mojave.
They are different scenes, similar to the main scene of macOS Catalina, all inspired by this fantastic place in California. We see snapshots taken in contrast to water and cliffs, taken at different times of the day. The images are in high resolution, so that they look with all their splendor if we look at the desktop on a large external monitor. That is why we have images in jpeg the rest 20 Mb. with dimensions of 6.000 x 6.000 inches.
We can also find the file in format HEIC containing the 8 snapshots of main image, taken in the different times of the day When macOS Mojave came out, there was a rumor about the large number of dynamic desktops that would appear in the following months, to offer an alternative to those offered by Apple. On the other hand, it has not had much interest on the part of developers or content creators, since we have seen practically no alternative.
On the other hand, after the keynote the release date of macOS Catalina and the rest of Apple's operating systems was discussed. This year the systems will come to light a week later on what Apple has accustomed us to. Due to the evolution of the systems during the summer months, it seemed to indicate that this year they would even be ahead. In case this delay is due to a security on the part of Apple in terms of the reliability of the systems, it is a wise decision by the company.
