Noise-canceling AirPods could arrive later this year

Much of the news we publish is based on rumors, rumors sometimes come true, although in a fairly small percentage. One of the media that offers more information throughout the year is Digitimes, a medium that has a hit rate of approximately 50%. The latest rumor points to the third generation of AirPods.

For just over a month and more than a year late, Apple has made available the second generation of AirPods, a second generation that integrate a new chip in addition to allowing us to charge the container case wirelessly, but still does not offer a noise cancellation system.

According to Digitimes, Apple is working with suppliers and manufacturers to the third generation of AirPods will be available later this year. Although the second generation has been available since last month, some rumors suggest that Apple could offer two ranges of AirPods, the most expensive being the one that will offer us a noise cancellation system. Like the second generation of AirPods, this new generation will be manufactured by Inventec and Luxshare Precision.

Apple makes available to us the second generation of AirPods for 229 euros, if we opt for the model with wireless charging case. If we opt for the normal case, the one that is charged via lightning, the price remains the same as that of the first generation: 179 euros. If we recently bought our AirPods, Apple also offers us the possibility of being able to buy the charging case independently for 89 euros.

A few weeks ago, Apple added to the product catalog of its website the Powerbeats Pro, headphones with features very similar to AirPods, but with the ssupport and sweat protection system that many users have demanded in AirPods.
