Writing to NTFS disks on our Mac is always something that tends to give some war, but for that the community moves and we have some applications that will pave the way and facilitate us progress on this task.
One of them is NTFS Mounter. Writing on our Mac will become something simple, since although Snow Leopard allows NTFS access and writing, it is not activated by default. ntfs mounter will do for us as soon as it detects a connected NTFS disk.
The application is free and obviously requires Snow Leopard, but I guess most of you already have it installed.

Download | NTFS Mounter
i downloaded it and dragged it to the apps folder, but it doesn't work. When I click on it, the ntfs mounter icon appears in the menu bar for just a few seconds and then disappears. I'm new to mac and I don't know how to fix it, but I urgently need to store files because I have no more memory :(, thanks in advance!
