October Comes Hot Too: New MacBook Air, iMac, and 5k Display

Apple doesn't want to give us a break. This same week the September 7 keynote where foreseeably the iPhone 7 and new operating systems IOS 10 y macOS Sierra, when we get a report Bloomberg on the introduction of new Macs next October. We are talking about family MacBook Air, imac. With this action, Apple tries to renew practically its entire range of computers, making it coincide with the final version of Mac OS Sierra. We are waiting to know the will of the company with the evolution of the Mac mini and the MacBook.

But you do not want to present only new computers, you can also go on the market new 5K display with integrated GPU.

For the manufacture of the screen, Apple would have the collaboration of LG just like it did in the past with the iMac 5k. These screens show great versatility, as they will improve the performance of many Apple computers. For example, improve graphics management in editing programs or games on Mac mini, but it can also be a perfect complement to laptops, allowing you to use a high performance graphics without losing the lightness and portability of your equipment on a day-to-day basis.

Regarding the MacBook Air, it seems that will have support for USB-C. On the other hand, the most outstanding novelty in the iMac will be the incorporation of the new GPUs of AMD.

These news are added to the news of the renovation of the MacBook Pro, already advanced days ago. Regarding this equipment, the article advances in OLED panel operation. It seems that the functions will be adapted to the program we are using. For example, on the desktop it will allow us to modify the playback buttons, the brightness, etc. Whereas in Safari, some buttons will change to offer a quick search on the page we are viewing.

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 13 ″ macbook air and currently in the apple store there is an offer that gives you a few beats as a gift with the purchase of a mac, apart from the discount that the air carries, the configuration that interests me is that of i7 and it stays at a very good price but I don't know whether to wait until day 7 and see what they present, will they mean great improvements in the air or not? is it worth the offer? or better wait for me just in case?

Hello Ramon. First of all, I don't think any Macs will be featured in next week's Keynote, it's easier for them to be featured in October taking advantage of the MacOS Sierra release, although this does not guarantee that they will be released immediately. So if you opt for the new, I don't know when it will be available. Second, we do not have much data regarding the configurations of the new equipment and therefore we do not know if it is worth it or not. However, the good thing about Macs is that they withstand the famous programmed obsolescence quite well, that is, that it is perfectly usable several years after its release. Therefore, unless your requirements are very high, it is not necessary to have the latest version.
