Now we see how an independent version of Office 2016 for Mac was launched yesterday, allowing anyone to buy this software directly without having to have an active subscription in Office 365. 

If you choose to purchase this "standalone" version of Office 2016 without any subscription, will be priced at 149 Euros with license for a team in its version for Home and Students or 279 Euros if we opt for the version for companies (which includes Outlook unlike the version for Students). In addition we will also have 15 GB of storage in One Drive, unlike Office 365 subscribers with 1 terabyte of space.

From my point of view, if we plan to renew this suite in the next 3 years (assuming a new version is already out), it is more advisable to opt for the subscription, since in the end we will pay practically the same as if we pay everything at once and above. with more options available.

It should be noted that Office 2016 for Mac has a completely redesigned suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
