Apple announced a few hours ago that it will open the official online store on September 23 at Indica. You may think that Apple already sells its products in the country and yes, it sells them, but for online purchases It is only available through websites like Amazon or Flipkart.
A huge market with a number of people willing to buy products from the firm much larger than you imagine, so having your own online store there we imagine it is very good news for the company after years of negotiations with the country's authorities.
Apple CEO Tim Cook himself, was in charge of publishing the news on the social network Twitter with the direct link to the press release in which Apple explains the details about the start of sales in the official store in the country:
We know how important it is for our customers to stay in touch with those they love and the world around them. We can't wait to connect with our customers and expand support in India with the Apple Store online on September 23! 🇮🇳https://t.co/UjR31jzEaY
