Thanks to movement Me Too, which was born after the accusations of sexual abuse of the American producer Harvey Weinstein, we discover how the world of the film industry, had become a sex market in which women were forced to go through the hoop if they wanted to work in the industry.

Little by little, this movement spread to other industries such as science, politics and academia. The next scandal that Oprah looks like she intends to uncover is the one found In the music's world. According to Variety, Oprah is working on a documentary that will focus on sexual harassment in the music industry.

At the Apple TV + launch event last March, Apple claimed that the collaboration with Oprah included a book club (already available on Apple TV + for a few weeks), a documentary about sexual assault and a series focused on mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

Variety states that the people in charge of directing and producing this documentary are Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering. Executive Producers are Oprah Winfrey, Terry Wood (via Harpo Productions), Dan Cogan (Impact Partners), Regina K. Scully (Artemis Rising), Ian Darling (Shark Island) and Abigail Disney (Level Forward). The creative team consists of Jamie Rogers and Amy Herdy.

The documentary is described as "an in-depth examination of race, gender, class, intersectionality and the number of victims in society at large." It will premiere on Apple TV + next year and for now the provisional title is Toxic Labor, a title that is likely to be changed prior to submission.
