Little by little the imperfections of the operating system that Apple will present, predictably, this month have been perfected. It is OS X 10.10 Yosemite, a system that will allow the continuity between the system of iOS mobile devices and that of Mac to be enriched. Now, after the different betas that have been launched for developers, and after sifting through each of the new features, we have to talk about the improvements that have been made to the Automator tool.

If you have ever used this tool for creating applications and workflows, among other things, you will know that its operation is based on creating the workflows manually in the tool window. Nevertheless, those of Cupertino have gone a step further and have implemented the option of being able to manage it with voice commands.

Yes, one of the new features that Automator will have in the future OS X Yosemite are spoken commands so that as soon as the new Automator is opened, the user will be allowed to associate voice commands with certain actions of the same. The actions that are created must be managed not from Automator itself, but from the Dictation options of the Accessibility Control Panel.

Also, in case you didn't know yet, to use the dictation action in OS X we can invoke it by double-pressing the «fn» key or with a preset keyboard shortcut. In short, from the output of OS X Yosemite, we will be able to create actions of all kinds in Automator using voice commands.
