OS X Mavericks version 10.9.3 causes Mac Pro GPU issues

Several Mac Pro users are reporting some problems to the Cupertino company due to the latest version of the operating system released on May 15, OS X 10.9.3. This new version would be causing problems related to rendering in videos and problems with some applications that are attributed to the bad relationship of this version with the GPU of the powerful Apple desktop.

Some of the reports speak of problems related to the software Adobe Premiere and the Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, but also the typical unexpected closings or crashes in various applications, in addition to the appearance of green and pink lines in videos created by users.

Not all Mac Pro are affected with this problem After updating to the latest version of OS X, it seems that those affected are only those who mount AMD graphics and specifically the D7000 and D5000 model from 2013. From Apple and also from the software companies Adobe and Blackmagic are working to find the source of the problem and provide a solution to those affected.

In principle it only affects Mac Pro users or at least there is no news about problems of this type in other Macs. Personally, on my iMac I have no faults or problems with this new version of OS X 10.9.3, but I don't use either video editing software from Adobe or Blackmagic.

It is possible that in the next few days the version of OS X 10.9.4 will be updated or a patch will be released to solve this problem on Apple Mac Pro. Possibly expecting WWDC this year It only has a few days left to start, but with Apple you never know and they may launch a new version even before the expected event in June to correct this problem.
