Phil Schiller

Phil Schiller is well known these days for being Apple's vice president of marketing, and for showing us new products and systems during Apple presentations. As you probably already know, within this scope, During the week of June 3 to 7, the WWDC will be officially celebrated, where Apple will present their new operating systems.

The fact is that, because of this, at Accidental Tech Podcast have decided to bring Phil Schiller as a guest, who has been in charge of speaking during the program of different aspects related to this global conference for developers, being a most interesting program.

Accidental Tech Podcast Brings Phil Schiller as Guest to Speak on WWDC

As we mentioned, during said program the most interesting and outstanding were the different talks by Phil Schiller about the WWDC, since they had time to talk about the history of this event, and even to debate about it. Especially, Phil is quite happy to be able to provide some great resources from Apple, such as developer academies, and all the help They provide students interested in the world of code.

“We think about it a lot. There are more than 5.000 attendees and more than 1.000 Apple engineers and guests. It is an incredible audience. For starters, nothing will be better than being at WWDC. It's really built around this experience that, for decades, we've said will always be Apple engineers introducing and interacting with developers. There have been many requests over the years to have other types of presentations with marketing people and business people, and I stay the line. The biggest benefit of this is that it is from engineer to engineer. Nothing can replace that.

But, on top of this, we know that we can't reach the whole world that way and that there is so much great content. We want to get that content to the widest audience possible, help developers take advantage of and adopt new features and technologies quickly, and give us feedback. We are constantly working on this challenge. We broadcast more and more WWDC week live, not only the keynote address, but also other events for as many people as possible. Make that live stream available on as many platforms as possible. We put video on demand very quickly, and we work very hard every year to speed up the time it is published.

WWDC 2019

During said program, Phil Schiller was very helpful, and said quite a few things related to WWDC (without revealing anything related to what we will see in this year's edition). For this reason, although it is true that the podcast in question is in English, we invite you to listen to it. You can do it directly from the Accidental Tech Podcast website.
