From the title, it is likely that it has not been very clear to you what this application really offers us. plugSHIELD is a simple, but powerful, application that will prevent third parties from connect storage units to our equipment in order to transfer information.
This application is intended for the professional field, since it is unlikely that in our home we have the risk that a third person may have access to our equipment to copy the information that we have stored. What is achieved with this application? What no one can copy information from our team or our team.
Once we have installed and run plugSHIELD, the application will reject any storage unit that we connect to our equipment automatically. The application works both with external storage units (hard drives, pen drives ...) and with storage cards.

The last time the app was updated was two years ago, an update that provided support for macOS High Sierra. However this fworks perfectly and without any problem with macOS Catalina. Hopefully with the release of macOS Big Sur, the developer will update the application again, as it is likely that it will not work properly due to the aesthetic and functional changes that have been implemented in the next version of macOS.
