Poland will enjoy Apple Pay in early 2018

Last October, we echoed a news story stating that Poland was among the countries that would receive, sooner rather than later, Apple's wireless payments technology, Apple Pay, a technology that it is currently available in many European countries.

But apparently, the news about the arrival of Apple Pay in Poland, has begun to circulate through different sources, sources that suggest that the Poles will have to wait until the year that comes to make your purchases through your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.

According to the website cashless.pl, the arrival of Apple Pay to the 5 main banks in the country is delayed until the first quarter of 2018. As usual, the banks have not wanted to confirm or deny the news, apparently due to the confidentiality agreements they have signed with Apple.

The arrival of Apple Pay is big news  not only for Apple users in Poland, but also for citizens of other European countries, where today, the Cupertino-based company is still not present either with Apple Pay or through physical stores, as is the case. from Norway, where in a few days the first Apple Store will open, the Czech Republic and Romania without going any further

Currently, Apple Pay is available in Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Canada and the United States, where the number of banks and credit institutions that today are compatible with Apple Pay exceeds a thousand, a number that is increasing practically every week.
