Powerbeats Pro 2

The first news regarding Apple's intention to launch a new range of wireless headphones under the Beats brand was found in iOS 12.2. Shortly after Apple officially presented through its website the Powerbeats Pro, wireless headphones that enjoyed the same functionalities as second generation AirPods.

Just one year after the launch of the first generation of the Powerbeats Pro, we have new news related to the second generation of these headphones, some headphones have already received the approval of the authorities that regulate communications in the United States, Malaysia and South Korea.

According to the guys at MySmartPrice, the Powerbeats Pro 2 have obtained Malaysia's SIRIM certification, allowing Apple to officially sell them on the market. That certification shows two model numbers: A2453 and A2454, model numbers that correspond to the left and right headphones.

But not only has it obtained the approval of SIRIM of Malaysia, but also, has also obtained the FCC certificate, Federal Communications Commission of the United States, an organization, which, like the SIRM of Malaysia, must certify that they are fit to reach the market. The FCC certification shows us the same product numbers: A2453 and A2454. The NRRC of Korea, the body that regulates telecommunications in the country, has also certified this device with the same product numbers.

The only characteristics that have been confirmed through these organisms is that use Bluetooth 2.4 GHz. According to MySmartPrice, we can expect the second generation of Powerbeats Pro to offer better sound quality and longer battery life. At the moment, there is no indication that points to their launch, but once they have received the certification of these organizations, it is a matter of time before they reach the market.
