Prizmo 3.5 will improve OCR character recognition

Prizmo is a character recognition application that has been on macOS for more than 9 years. In the coming weeks, the new version of Prizmo, focusing on the character recognition engine as the main novelty. In addition, the application does not rewrite the extracted text, but it is able to understand what is written to translate it into text format and work with it.

But this is not the only novelty that we will see in this update. Up to 18 new languages ​​have been added to the Prizmo 3.5 versionTherefore, this can become the main OCR application of macOS.

In the tests carried out, the OCR engine correctly recognizes text when it comes to scanned documentation. But also, spectacular results are detected, even when trying to capture text from a photo made on the document.

Prizmo is available in two versions. The first one can be found for € 54,99. It is not cheap, but if your job depends on extracting information from documents, you will appreciate the time you save with this application.
