MacBook battery drain problems when it's not connected to power and with the lid closed?

Today I have been looking online for possible causes of a problem that I have been suffering for some time and that is that having loaded the 12-inch MacBook at night and then unplug it and lower the screen without turning it off to use it faster the next day, the battery of it has dropped a lot from one day to the next.

Luckily I have found a reflection of @ojbaeza a twitterer who on many occasions shares with his followers situations that he goes through with his Apple products. In this case, he refers to the same problem that I have been suffering from and now that I have read the solution that he has found, I think it appropriate that we spread it as much as possible.

The fact is that Apple, in its eagerness to have the MacBook updated and ready at all times for when you open the lid of it, or on the contrary that you can receive notifications and always be informed of everything that happens on the network. Now, as you may also know, in terms of notifications Apple included the function for quite some time "Do not bother", a function that at a certain moment may be necessary in case it is counterproductive for the system to inform you of certain notifications.

Well, looking at the existing configurations in the section of Notifications that we can locate in the System Preferences window, we can see that we have the possibility to nap that when the computer has the screen in rest we can deactivate the notifications.

I have put this procedure into practice and have verified that, at least on my computer, the battery is no longer draining as before. So we will see if in future updates of the Apple system it will be activated to cancel notifications when the screen is at rest and thus we do not have to do it ourselves. Thanks @ojbaeza!
