"Restart to Safari", the surprise of OS X Lion

Apple did not tell us during WWDC about a new feature that it has included in the latest OS X Lion Developer Preview, and I think that is something interesting enough that we stop to comment on it.

This time the inspiration comes from Chrome OS

It's been a long time since Google introduced its web browser-based operating system, but the idea has never really caught on. Now Apple comes to try something similar, but instead of doing it with the protagonist, he simply settles with being an extra from the movie.

"Restart to Safari" is a function that allows a user to use our Mac to surf the Internet without having to log in with a user, and this is an advantage for the owner of the computer since it ensures that everything remains in order.

There are many practical uses, that is clear. For example, sometimes relatives come to my house who are not used to a Mac, but who want to go online. Well, what better solution than to give them a browser and nothing else, neither they can spoil anything nor we have to worry about it.
