Another Apple patent registered that we would like to see on Macs

Touch ID

Patently Apple is getting away with the issue of patents and Apple and in this case we have one of those patents that we really like. A few days ago I also said the same when we saw the patent in which we could see the MagSafe connector in the USB C and now one that shows a Mac with Face ID and a keyboard with Touch Bar outside of the MacBook Pro.

Surely many of you would also like this to be a reality on Macs, for now is already patented by Apple so it is getting closer and closer to happening. Accessing the Mac through Face ID is something that Apple may implement in new equipment and now we already have Touch ID in some of them, so this facial sensor would undoubtedly improve the way to access the equipment or identify ourselves on websites, etc.

But you have to be prudent with this type of patent and not think that it is ready to be implemented in the elusive. And it is that when we talk about patents we do not tire of warning first of all that these Apple patents can come to nothing so we should not have too much hope in it and if it comes true later on, then we can always say that: "an old patent already warned that this could be real."

An external keyboard with Touch Bar and Face ID on Macs would undoubtedly be a safety and productivity improvement. Although I am very satisfied with the option of unlocking the MacBook through the Apple Watch, but of course, it can only be unlocked once active, obviously having the watch and it is not used to pay for purchases or the like so it is much better to have the Touch ID or the Face ID implemented in the computers. Let's hope they don't take too long.
