A new version of macOS Monterey for developers has just been released by Apple. In this case it is the macOS Monterey 4 beta 12.1 and it adds new features in the security and general stability of the system. The new macOS developer beta is now available for download and installation.
This version arrives just over two weeks after beta 3 was released. It does not mean anything but it is true that if the times between launches continue to increase and the number of beta versions continue to increase as in recent times, the official version will not arrive until next year.
For now, the times between beta versions are somewhat longer as we say, although it is true that we are going at a good pace to have a final version before the end of this year, everything will depend on the number of beta versions they want to launch earlier. Be that as it may, we imagine that they will want to leave everything in perfect working order, so we don't expect too many changes to the operating system that may compromise its security or stability.
In this new version no changes are added beyond the bug fixes that we know of, if there is news in this beta 4 version we will publish it on the web. As always, we recommend staying away from the beta versions of macOS for developers and waiting at the most for the public beta versions that will be available soon. Anyway the best in all cases or it is best not to install these beta versions to avoid possible problems or incompatibility with any App or tool that we need in our day to day.
