MacOS Big Sur 11.2 final version released

MacBook Pro Big Sur

Finally, after several beta versions RC (Release Candidate), the Cupertino company released a few minutes ago the final version of macOS Big Sur 11.2 for all users. It seems that the problems detected in the beta versions were solved and now yes, we already have the official version of Big Sur 11.2 available for download.

Remember that this version of macOS should have been launched last week but for some reason - which we do not know - its launch was delayed with three developer versions of the RC. Apple finally leaves this version free for everyone, so now to install it.

Bluetooth connectivity improvements, Photo bug fixes, and more

The new version released adds all the improvements we have already read in previous RC beta versions. Fixes a bug with the hubs connected to the Mac mini with M1 processor using HDMI to DVI, fixes a bug in Apple ProRAW photo editing, another problem in iCloud Drive with folder synchronization and a bug in accessing Preferences with the password of admin. In addition, minor errors detected are also corrected.

To avoid problems if you need the Mac for work we advise you to wait to install this version at least 24/48 hours. It is true that it can be counterproductive to wait to install a new official version released but having so many RCs released it seems a bit strange to us and it could be that some apps were not compatible or even that some other bug had slipped into them. Logically we have to be clear that it is best to install the new version as soon as possible to solve the problems corrected in it, but waiting a bit to see the "feedback" from other users who "do not depend" on the Mac to work can be a good idea.

In our case the version is working and installed on a 12-inch MacBook and we have not detected any problems.
