Reset the settings and erase the contents of your Apple Watch

Apple Watch-reset-settings-0

Although in general the operation of our Apple Watch is good and stable at the same time, it is not exempt from failures such as those that occur with the synchronization of applications, small crashes or some other bug still not solved that we hope will be solved with the version that is about to come out, WatchOS 2.

For this reason, if we verify that it is not being as stable as we would like, we always have the first option, which would be to unpair it from the iPhone and reconnect it, simply deactivating / activating the Bluetooth option on the iPhone, if this does not work, we can also restore the factory settings as a more "radical" option that will surely end up solving the problem. Let's see how to do it.

To access this option we will only have to go directly to Settings> General> Restart> Delete contents and settings. Keep in mind that if we do this we will not be able to retrieve any data from the watch, that is, if we had saved workouts or any other type of configuration established, we will have to repeat everything again since it leaves it as fresh from the factory.

Now we only have to pair the Apple Watch with the iPhone again to configure it and to have it operational again at 100%.

This «reset» must be taken into account that it is only valid for when there is a malfunction of the Apple Watch either for connectivity or to rule out hardware failures, however It is not valid to downgrade the version, so if we have installed any of the WatchOS 2 betas or in this case the latest Golden Master, we can only return it to version 1.0.1 by sending it to Apple Technical Service directly since not even in the Apple Store they will be able to download it version.
