Good morning everyone! Once again and as always, I bring you the review of an application that could well save our lives on more than one occasion, or at least help us to be found anywhere in the world. I mean the new app of TomTom Go for iOS devices.
Tom Tom Go Mobile: very accurate and safe
Many of us go completely from buying a GPS since we think that “if I have my mobile with Google Maps or Apple MapsWhy am I spending the money on a GPS? ». Well, the thinking gentlemen at TomTom have heard this over and over again and have wanted to solve this problem since their sales of location devices have dropped a lot.
Taking advantage of the fact that all mobiles have a built-in GPS, these gentlemen have launched TomTom Go Mobile for iOS.
The application, as you can see, has a pleasant and easy-to-use graphical interface. With 75 km free per month, we can start to test it within our city to see if its use convinces us and check that it meets all our needs. From the home screen and clicking on the icon "..." that appears in the lower left corner, we access the main menu of the application where we can:
- Buscar-> Some destination that we want to go or points of interest near our location.
- Recent Destinations-> To access the destinations we have visited before.
- Current Route-> It allows us to change the route we are following, delete the route or have a preview of it.
- Report Radar-> It is used to inform TomTom of a new speed camera that they do not have registered in their database.
- My Places-> It allows us to enter the route of our favorite places or, failing that, the route to the address of a friend or relative.
- Set aside-> It informs us about the car parks (free or paid) that are in the area where we are or in the city that we are in general.
- Gas station-> It gives us information about the closest gas stations or refueling points.
- Renovate-> It allows us to renew our subscription for 1 or 3 years.
- Assistance-> This option allows us to solve all the doubts we have about the application or the problems that arise with it.
It has to be said that TomTom Go Mobile for iOS also allows adjust the volume of your prompts or even put her in silence so that it does not disturb driving (or the music we are listening to). And finally it should be noted that it distinguishes between night and day mode adjusting the brightness and colors of the screen.
Anyway, it's an app very complete and that will delight more than one and that I personally recommend for those of us who are «bad seat asses » as my grandmother would say. I await your comments and happy weekend!
