Rosetta 2 may not work on M1-chip Macs in certain regions after macOS Big Sur 11.3 update

The best ally of macOS Big Sur is Rosetta 2.0

This is one of those news that we do not like too much and that we hope that in the final version it does not end up happening and it is that the developers have found a line of code in the beta version of macOS Big Sur 11.3 in which supposedly the Rosetta 2 feature could be removed on some Macs with an M1 processor in certain regions.

Rosetta 2 is directly focused on the developer and its function, explained in a very basic way, is to translate the code of the applications so that they can be ported from Intel to the new ARM processors from Apple used in Macs, the M1. It's unclear why Apple wants to remove Rosetta 2 from certain countries and neither what alternatives will it offer to users in case this is confirmed.

Steve Moser shows in a tweet that this feature might not work in certain places after finding a new line of code in macOS Big Sur 11.3:

It is said that it could be a licensing problem that the Cupertino company is already working on. Once the macOS 11.3 Big Sur version is installed, if the option to use Rosetta 2 disappears in some parts of the world, they will have to have other alternatives, we will see what happens.
