Just two weeks have passed since the previous version of Safari Technology Preview and we already have version 23 available for download. On this occasion, as in previous versions, work is done on the stability of the experimental browser, the errors detected on version 22 are corrected and updates are added for JavaScript, CSS, Form Validation, Web Inspector, Web API, Media, Performance and similar.
While it is true that today we were all waiting for the public version of macOS Sierra 10.12.4 with the new features implemented in the developer versions, it has not been released for the moment. In any case Apple does not miss the appointment every two weeks with this version of Safari Technology Preview and the update has been released a while ago so that we can all help with bug detection. Hopefully Apple does not forget about the public versions of macOS Sierra and releases them as soon as possible, but at the moment there is no trace of this beta.
In any case, this is an experimental browser that can be used by everyone who wants and has a Mac, so the more users try this browser, the more feedback Apple has for detect bugs in the browser and apply fixes. Also, as we said before, to use it, a developer account is not required and anyone can download it, simply access the developer website and download Safari Technology Preview.
[UPDATED] It seems that this version adds a patch or possible solution to the battery problem in the new MacBook Pro with TB and without it from 2016. This new patch implemented in this Preview version of Safari, would solve the increased consumption in these Macs, we will see the opinions of the usauri0s in the coming days.
