Safari Technology Preview version 134 now available

Safari Technology Preview Update 101

Safari Technology Preview, the experimental browser that Apple first introduced in March 2016, has just hit version 134, a browser designed to test features that Apple plans to introduce in Safari in future versions.

Safari Technology Preview version 134 includes Bug fixes and performance improvements for Web Inspector, CSS, CSS Font Loading API, Scrolling, Rendering, Dialog Element, WebAssembly, JavaScript, Web API, WebGL, Media, WebRTC, Accessibility, Private Click Measurement, and Web Extensions.

This new version of Safari Technology Preview is based on the Safari 15.4 update and includes the Safari 15 features introduced in macOS Monterrey. A new optimized tab bar has been introduced with support for groups of tabs to organize them and with improved support for Safari web extensions.

Live Text allows users select and interact with text displayed in images, but it is necessary that our team is managed by macOS Monterrey and a Mac M1.

We also found Sticky Notes support for adding Safari links and highlights to remind you of important information and ideas. The new Safari Technology Preview update is available for both macOS Big Sur and macOS Monterey.

If you have any previous version of this browser installed, to update it, you must access System Preferences - Software Updates to download this new version.

Full release notes for the update are available at the Safari Technology Preview website. It should be remembered that this browser works independently of existing Safari on macOS, and although it is intended for the developer community, anyone can download and install it on their computer, even if they do not have an Apple account.
