Search for pages from the Touch Bar on your Mac or visit your favorite sites

MacBook keyboard

The Touch Bar continues to be the protagonist in the MacBook Pro although it is not having the development that many of us would like. The Cupertino company added it in 2016 together with the Touch ID to access the equipment and use it for purchases, registrations, etc. and with it the most powerful equipment differed from the rest of the MacBook.

In this case, what we want to share with you are two of the options that the Touch Bar offers us when we access the official Apple browser, Safari on our Mac. With the touch bar we can access the websites that we have in favorites or visit the web pages directly from it.

When we bookmark a website we can access it from the Touch Bar. It is as simple as clicking on the site that appears on the small screen and the page will load automatically on the screen and if we also add the keyboard shortcut cmd + T we can open more windows and more websites without lifting our hands from the keyboard .

Touch Bar search

On the other hand we have the option of browse and search any website using the Touch Bar. To do this we have to click on the left or right arrow buttons to move forward and backward. Then it is simply a matter of clicking on the search bar and typing what you want to search for on the web. We can also press the plus symbol to open a new tab or use the keyboard shortcut that we have mentioned above. It is true that the functions offered by the touch bar in Safari are quite limited today and Apple could implement a few more options.
