Recently, during WWDC 2016, Apple announced a new feature for Apple Music: we can read the lyrics of the songs while we are listening to them. However, this feature has been in its great rival for some time, Spotify, and although this is Applelised, we know that many of you still use this platform so we are going to tell you how to see the lyrics of the songs.
Currently, Spotify continues to be the world leader in streaming music with 30 million paying subscribers compared to 15 million for Apple Music. In collaboration with Genius, Spotify makes it possible to simultaneously display the lyrics of the songs you are playing. This makes listening to music even more enjoyable, because you can sing all you want, even if you do it awful like me 😁.
To use this function, you will need at least an iPhone 5 on which you have the latest version of the application installed. If you are not sure, open the App Store and look in the Updates section, in case you have it pending.
You also need to know that not all songs have this feature of being able to display the lyrics. It also depends on the region you are in, and there are undoubtedly regional differences in the implementation of this feature.
When you are listening to a playlist on Spotify, a specific song, if the function is available you will see that on the image is the expression “Behind the Lyrics”, it is the name of this characteristic.
Simply slide the cover page down and the lyrics will appear on the screen as the song plays.
