Simple Solutions for Common Mac Problems

Osx-0 solutions

Not all problems on Mac they have to be complicated and it is that many times we choke little things that with a simple application or trick we can solve it without further complications.
For this reason we are going to explain how to bring solutions to five very common problems on Mac and that with a couple of steps we can solve.
  1. Correct ejection of drives: Most users of any MacBook will be familiar with the "disc not ejecting properly" notification. This notification can be seen and consequently prevent a bad ejection again but if we have the MacBook lid closed and it is at rest and we remove the USB key it will also have been incorrectly ejected without realizing it.
Solution: For this there is jettison, a small application that for a price of 1,79 Euros will make all the units that we have connected to the MacBook eject before it goes into sleep mode, and when it is activated again, Jettinson will reassemble the units, that easy .
  2. Battery life: Although the general speed of computers with mounted SSDs has increased exponentially since the first portable computers appeared to date, it does not mean that when we least need it the computer goes into sleep or sleep. Either because we need to download a file or you're waiting for an important Skype call.
Solution: For this there is the application of coffee, that being free prevents the mac from going to sleep. Although the preferences of the system with the economizer are well adjusted in the times, simply pressing the Caffeine icon in the menu bar will make your computer go to sleep. Of course, you have to be careful because when the cup is "full" is that Caffeine is activated, unlike when we see it empty.
  3. Mouse / trackpad clicks: Throughout the day we will make hundreds or perhaps thousands of clicks with the mouse or trackpad and this in people with carpal tunnel syndrome or simply have a problem, can be an inconvenience.
Solution: DwellClick It is an application with a free trial that will later cost 4,49 Euros and that will enable the handling of the mouse or trackpad in such a way that when we move across the surface it will act 'normal' but as soon as the cursor stops completely it will simulate a click even though we have not clicked, it can be configured to double click by pressing the Ctrl key.
  4. Resolution on Retina displays: Although the resolution is very high, when it comes to scaling on the screen there are users who prefer more space and others instead need larger icons and less desktop space and the truth is that it is very 'tiring' to go around changing from one to another.
Solution: For this we have the application of QuickRes which will be installed in the menu bar and will allow us to change screen settings quickly where we can work with a 1: 1 scale that adjusts to the resolution, emulated 2x ... The application is priced at $ 2,99 from  this link.
  5. Screen brightness and colorimetry: Various studies certify that working for long periods of time, especially at night with bright light or with a certain type of color calibration, can eventually interfere with the individual's sleeping spaces.
Solution: With the application of f.lux It will automatically change the color of the screen when the sun rises or sets and can even specify the focus of the ambient light so that it regulates the brightness much more precisely than the default option of OS X.

Hello, how about the problem I have is that a few months ago my dad was sold a macbook air, everything was going well until suddenly it crashed since someone had lost so there was a number to dial and be able to return it to Its owner, we dialed and they answered from an office we asked for the owner of the computer and they said that he no longer worked there and that they did not have his number to be able to communicate with him I think for security reasons they did not give us or I do not know, so we decided Finally, they took her to a technician and he was able to remove the administrator and the password, now I have my new administrator and a new password, the doubt I have is that I want to UPDATE it to macOS SIERRA but I don't know if it will block me or something like that Again, it would be helpful if you digest me, if it can be blocked or if there is no problem because I update it, thank you very much I hope for an answer.

hello… I upgrade to big sur… .blocked… two weeks without Mac. Two weeks later they get a solution and a month later and working correctly, I put it on hold… to take watching… dead again… it won't start. Now put the fingers of the hand like this or asao to see if you resurrect it. I believe that the end user does not have to be acting as a technician. It is almost fear that the user who works with a MacOSx computer has to update or make use of any function because you do not know if the computer will crash. From my point of view Mac is out of the question for future purchases. It seems illogical to me that equipment with hardware has tripled the price and also uses free software (UNIX) as a kernel. If I tell you FreeBSD or Linux they don't present such stupid bugs as suspending the team and running out of it.
